PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the amount of the processing liquid used in processing of photosensitive materials and preventing the concentration change, deterioration, etc., of the processing liquid. SOLUTION: A rotary drum 26 stuck with a water absorptive polymer 40 of a temperature sensitive point 35 deg.C on its outer peripheral surface is arranged above a storage tank 12 in which the processing liquid is stored. The photosensitive materials 42 are wound around the rotary drum 26 and the upper side of the rotary drum 26 is constituted to be heated by a heating section 24B. When the rotary drum 26 rotates and the water absorptive polymer 40 absorbing the processing liquid faces the heating section 24b and is heated to >=35oC, the processing liquid is discharged. The discharged processing liquid adheres to the photosensitive materials 42 and the processing is executed.
