Vacuum sewer system with transport of sewage in two stages; valve between sanitary unit and container being open while valve downstream of container being closed; and vice versa

In order to reduce noise and air consumption, a vacuum sewer system is disclosed whereby transportation of waste is carried out in two stages. The waste is first transported to container 3 under vacuum, and then to container 21 under further vacuum. Details of operation are disclosed.
