PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase adhesion of an electrode layer formed on the surface of a glass substrate when manufacturing a solar battery. SOLUTION: When cleaning the glass substrate, the surface of the substrate where the thin-film electrode layer is to be formed is washed with acid.
