PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connecting structure of optical members such that it is the same or above the conventional level in optical connecting accuracy and that it can greatly reduce an operator's burden as well as stably maintaining the connected condition. SOLUTION: The structure includes (a) a link module 1 having a cylindrical part 19a for optical connection and a resin-made elastically deformable lug part 7d which is plurally arranged on the outer circumference of the cylindrical part 19a, and (b) a plug module 3 having a columnar part 3a for optical connection, a bulging part 3b with a diameter larger than that of the columnar part 3a at its base side, and a planar part 3c which can engage with a gap S between the lug part 7d of the link module 1 and an adjacent another lug part 7d. In the optical connection, the lug part 7d is engaged with the bulging part 3b, providing a fall-off preventing function, while the planar part 3c is fitted to the gap S between the lugs, carrying out a turn stopping function.
