PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately measuring with excellent reproducibility capable of simultaneously determining in a method for analyzing the ratio of element compositions of a lithium secondary cell material or the like. SOLUTION: The method for quantitatively analyzing cation comprises steps for introducing a sample solution into an ion chromatograph, separating and determining the cation by using an aqueous solution containing two or more types of an inorganic acid and an organic acid as a moving phase, thereby analyzing an element in the sample.
