PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method capable of synchronizing image data by using a line memory with a small capacity. SOLUTION: An image of one frame having 1312 pixels in the horizontal direction is divided into image each having 192 pixels in the horizontal direction to obtain a plurality of image areas 20. The device employs the line memory that can store image data by 192 pixels to repetitively process synchronization to the image data by one frame.
