Twin-screen paper machine

To increase uniformity between the two sides of a paper sheet, two longitudinal screens are used which are identical in structure and operation and which are preferably arranged in mirror symmetry, moving towards each other. On each of them, a fibre layer is formed and at their meeting point they turn through 90 degrees and move together to produce a sheet from the two fibre layers.
