PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation system which can be operated more safely. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle navigation system is provided with a running and stop detection part 11 which obtains speed information from a speedometer 2 and which outputs stop information and running information. The navigation apparatus is provided with a fixed-position detection part 12 which detects whether the on-vehicle navigation apparatus 1 is situated in a position A near the seat of a driver or in a position B near the seat of an assistant and which outputs information on the position, the running information and the stop information. The navigation apparatus is provided with an operation yes-or-no judgment part 13 which judges the validity or the invality of an input operation from a key input part 15 on the basis of the information on the position, the running information and the stop information. The navigation apparatus is provided with a control part 14 which outputs a warning display to a display part 17 or a voice output part 18 when invalidity information and position information on a position C are received, which outputs an operation invalidity display to the display part 17 or the voice output part 18 when the input operation is performed after the invalidity information and position information on the position A are received and which performs a corresponding processing operation when the input operation is performed after validity information is received. |
