PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layer capacitor, which has a large capacitance, a low electrical resistance, and a rated voltage of >=2.6 V and the performance of which is stabilized, even if the capacitor is used over a long period. SOLUTION: The electric double-layer capacitor, having a rated voltage of >=2.6 V has an electrode body which is constituted by bonding an electrode containing a carbonic material having a specific surface area of >=500 m2/g and a binder to a current-collecting body, composed of 99.99% pure aluminum foil and an electrolytic solution containing an ester carbonate. |
