<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector which is simple and compact in constitution and eliminates the possibility that a card is extracted in the middle of transfer of information and secures the transfer of information with the card. SOLUTION: A couple of roller members 31 and 32 are provided, which clamp the card 2 inserted from an insertion slot 21; and the state wherein the card 2 is inserted into the insertion slot 21 is detected by a 1st switch 71, the state wherein the card 2 is positioned where information is exchanged is detected by a 2nd switch 72, and the state wherein the card 2 is nearly ejected from a housing 10 is detected by a 3rd switch 73. A controller 30 rotates an electric motor 33 according to the signal from the 1st switch 71, stops the motor 33 with the signal from the 2nd switch 72, and reverse the motor 33 with the signal outputted by manually operating a card ejection button 80 and also stops the reversing with the signal from the 3rd switch 73.</p> |
