PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a structure which prevents a cracking. SOLUTION: One of the connectors (a plug connector) 11 has a pair of a guide protrusions 19 with elasticity at both ends of the hood. The guide protrusions 19 are protruded toward the fitting direction and act to link with the other connector (receptacle connector) in a way of guiding. A pair of a slit 18-1, 18-2 are formed between the hood body and both ends of the hood. When connected and disconnected, both guide protrusions 19 at both ends of the hood bend elastically in cross direction from the fitting direction at the slit 18-1, 18-2, When the two connectors are fitted, both guide protrusions 19 of the plug connector 11 are inserted into the dented part at both ends of the insulator of the receptacle connector. As the functioning parts 21 of the locking device at both ends of the hood are moved accordingly, the locking pawl of the lock-spring 23 are interlocked, respectively. Each locking pawl is linked with locking hole 36-1 of the lock plate 36. |
