USB DATA TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT AND DATA COMPRESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data transmission and data compression to a PC from a peripheral device through a universal serial bus(USB) to complete data compression without increasing the processing time by accelerating transmission. SOLUTION: In an equipment for transferring data from the first information processor to the second information processor through the USB, a serial interface engine(SIE) 320 having a prescribed clock generator 324 and transferring the data from the first information processor to the second information processor receives a data output directly from the first information processor to a frame memory by a prescribed clock frequency, reads data from the memory 318 by the prescribed clock frequency, sends it to the latch 322 of the SIE 320 and drives the latch 322 to transfer the data directly to the SIE 320 from the data output of the first information processor.
