PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power line carrier communication system which can be constructed at low cost and which can simply cope with device extension, shifting, etc., even when many power line carrier communication devices are connected in the building, etc. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a communication frequency setting part which sets the communication frequency band of a signal to be superimposed on a power line 7, and the communication frequency setting part partitions the communication frequency band of the signal in each section.
