PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-in appliance, which can be mounted easily and efficiently to a mounting part. SOLUTION: This built-in appliance has an appliance body 35 and a pair of flat springs 36. The appliance body 35 has spring relief parts 43, consisting of a pair of tapered planes by which a width of its upper end is narrowed, and a flange part 41 protruding outward from its lower end. Root parts 36a of the pair of flat springs 36 are fixed to the lower end of the appliance body 35, and free ends of the pair of flat springs 36 can be moved along the spring relief parts 43. The free ends of the pair of flat springs 36, which are made to come approach each other when the appliance body 35 is inserted into an appliance attachment hole 61 of an adaptor 33 fixed to a ceiling plate 34, can be deformed elastically along the spring relief parts 43 of the appliance main part 35. The flat springs 36 have long lengths and are easily deformed elastically, and further can be deformed greatly, so as not to make the flat springs 36 be caught by the appliance attachment hole 61 and hard to insert.
