<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information signal display method and an information signal display device that can optionally designate a scene desired by a user, automatically retrieve a scene similar to the designated scene, display the scene, reproduce and display scenes for a prescribed period including the scene so as to easily attain skimming indication. SOLUTION: A prescribed information signal is reproduced from a recording medium, a desired information signal is designated from the reproduced information signal, the reproduced information signal for a prescribed period with prescribed similarity to or correlation with information signals for a prescribed period including the designated information signal is detected and the designated information signal for a prescribed period is displayed depending on the result of detection.</p> |
