PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic unit and a computer, capable of performing the arithmetic operation of data in plural data formats, using a simple configuration. SOLUTION: This arithmetic unit is provided with an IEEE post-processing part, which is common to an adding/subtracting par, a multiplying part, and a dividing part, and at the time of operating the processing of data in an IEEE format, the outputs of the adding/subtracting part, the multiplying part, and the dividing part are post-processed by the IEEE post-processing part, and outputted. |
