<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device with possibility of wider product development making designing easy of an emergency lighting fixture for long-hour use furnished with a plurality of batteries. SOLUTION: The lighting device is provide with a first device 11 having a power supply circuit 11a for converting the commercial power supply into the direct current and a charging circuit 11b charged by the first device 11, a second device 12 having a first battery 1 charged by the first device 11, a power supply circuit 12a for converting the commercial power supply into the direct current, and a charging circuit 12b for charging the battery with the power supply circuit 12a, and a third device 13 having a second battery 2 charged by the second device 12, a lamp L, and a lighting circuit 13a for lighting the lamp L. The lighting device is also provided with a power failure detecting means 16 for judging the state of commercial power supply as well as a switching means 15 for charging the first and second batteries with the first and second devices respectively when the commercial power supply is on and for connecting the charged batteries 1, 2 in parallel with each other to give output to the above third device 13.</p> |
