<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device using a circuit layout permitting to realize a small type liquid crystal panel in the case that a source driver occupies a large area. SOLUTION: This is a liquid crystal display device comprising a pixel part having (m×n) pieces of pixels of TFTs (m, n are both integers, m<n), gate drivers for supplying selection signals to m-pieces of gate signal lines, a source driver for supplying video data to the m-pieces of source signal lines, and a video data transforming circuit, and is characterized by that the video data transforming circuit transforms 1st video data (h, k) (h =1-m, k=1-n) into 2nd video data, and that the video data (h, k) composing the 1st video data are transformed into m(k-1)+h)th video data composing the 2nd video data.</p> |
