PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AWG realizing high wavelength isolation at a low cost. SOLUTION: A Bragg grating which generates a refractive index modulation of a waveguide at equal interval every each waveguide of an input/output waveguide 22 being a multi-fiber port respectively demultiplexed every wavelength component is formed by wavelength multiplexed light made incident from an input/output waveguide 21 being a single-fiber port. The central waveguide is adjusted so as to become the short wave side of the side rope of the wavelength component demultiplexed into respective waveguides. |
