PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of a motor driven tool by improving durability of a rotor and to improve the efficiency of the motor, by reducing a heating loss of the motor providing a sufficient dust protecting function, without having to lower the cooling performance of the motor. SOLUTION: Both ends of a wedge 5 are extended, so as to cover maximum outer diameter parts (protrusion 15) of the coil ends disposed at both sides of the rotor core 2 of a rotor coil. Thus, the extended part of the wedge 5 is disposed at the outside of a protrusion 15a and a recess 15b.
