PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for taking out soot blower steam in a high temperature high pressure waste heat boiler wherein the sealing life of a steam sealing ground packing of a soot blower can be prolonged, and, even upon the intermittent use of saturated steam for the soot blower stabilization of superheated steam temperature produced in an superheater is achieved by keeping the amount of steam flowing into the superheater unchanged without varying a water level in a steam water drum. SOLUTION: A communication tube 16 for supplying a predetermined amount of saturated steam at all times from a steam water drum 15 is connected with a communication tube 26 provided between a high pressure steam reservoir 24 and a high pressure steam condenser 27, and the predetermined amount of saturated steam from the steam water drum 15 and superheated steam from the high pressure steam reservoir 24 are mixed and supplied to a soot blower 12 through a soot blower steam tube 19 branched to the communication tube 16.
