PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thunder estimation support-equipment more highly precisely supporting the estimation of the thunder generation than the conventional ones searching past meteorological cases similar to the present meteorological situation, while taking account of shapes showing the physical extent of thunderclouds and using them for the thunder estimation. SOLUTION: This thunder estimation support-equipment is provided with a shape account thundercloud comparator comparing the thundercloud situations in the search conditions based on the search conditions, the present thunder generation judgment elements, and the past meteorological data including thunder generation judgment elements with the thundercloud situations of the past meteorological data taking account of the shapes of the thunderclouds, and finds the comparison results of the thundercloud situation taking account of the shapes. This equipment calculates the resemblance from the past meteorological data selected based on the comparison results, the search conditions, and present thunder generation judgment elements taking account of the shapes of the thunderclouds, and finds the search result including the selected past meteorological data and the resemblance thereto.
