摘要

A direct drawing lithographic printing plate material containing a support and an image forming layer formed on the support, characterized in that the image forming layer is formed on the roughened surface of the support and contains a binder and a pigment of a comparative small grain size. The plate material has a very excellent water retaining property, is almost free from greasing at printing, will not cause a lowered printing density nor image bleeding despite an increased amount of a damping liquid at printing, and can minimize defective printing as might be encountered when printing is resumed after a temporary stop.
