<p>The connector, esp. for two sections (10A, 10B) of a flexible tube, consists of an outer cylindrical housing (1, 11) and inner sleeve (4) with an end cap (5, 12), and outer interacting stopper (6, 13). The two outer housings (1, 11) are in the form of male and female components which make close contact with one another when the connector is made, while the inner sleeves (4) are rigid and have at least one aperture (25) through which the hydraulic fluid can circulate. Each of the tube sections (10A, 10B) is fixed between one of the outer housings and a sleeve. One of the two end caps (12) is able to move relative to the free end of its sleeve, and one of the stoppers (6) is in the form of an axially-moving seal which interacts with a seat on the fixed end cap (12).</p> |
