Composition (A) for treatment of neurological diseases and as neuroprotectant comprises an oil-in-water emulsion of one or more cyclosporines (I); one or more triglycerides (II) of 4-24C fatty acids; 3-sn-phosphatidylcholine (PC) and/or phosphatidylethanolamine (PE); at least one of glycerol, mannitol, sorbitol and/or urea (collectively (III)) at hypertonic concentration, plus water. An Independent claim is also included for preparation of (A) by conventional emulsification.
