The assembly to adjust the zoom setting of a video camera, over the positioning on the Y-axis of a laser cutting head, has a video camera (2) on a wheeled box (1) which travels on the X-axis. It receives a digital signal from the movement path measurement system (3) which corresponds to the position of the laser cutting head on the Y-axis. The signal data are stored in a tabular or numerical format, to be combined with the analog voltage signal (4) from the control (5) to the video camera (2), which is linked to the cutting head (6).
