Multilayer photographic element has a reflecting substrate, 3 consecutive color copying units (1, 2, 3) with light-sensitive layer(s) and (1, 3) one and (2) >= 2 light-insensitive, scavenger-free, dye-forming intermediate layers, and a top layer of gelatin and ultraviolet-absorbing material. The silver halide grains contain over 90% silver chloride and have specified reciprocity. Multilayer photographic element has a reflecting substrate, 3 consecutive color copying units (1, 2, 3) with light-sensitive layer(s) and (1, 3) one and (2) >= 2 light-insensitive, scavenger-free, dye-forming intermediate layers, and a top layer of gelatin and ultraviolet-absorbing material. The silver halide grains contain over 90% silver chloride and their reciprocity is such that, for separation exposure of 1 microsecond and 0.4 second, at least one unit can be developed to a density >= 2.0 within a log exposure range <= 1.2 relative to the exposure point giving a density of 0.04 above Dmin.
