The flashed glass is a thin-walled, hollow and hand-blown initial product (4). A relief structure under the outer surface from the initial product is formed by plastics self-adhesive plotter films or stencils and blasting using sand or aluminum oxide particles on or over the basic glass (2). The surface erosion and perforation action on a first, second or further glass cladding layer (3) in various and alternating depths gives a decorative pattern (8) on the basic glass. The product (10) is finished by etched polishing (9).
