The invention relates to a method and device for displaying and monitoring of two or more function parameters of a technical system. Method has the following steps: (a) making reference measurements for determination of reference measurement values for the function parameters of the system; (b) filtering to remove high frequency oscillations; (c) repeating of step A at a later time point; (d) filtering; (e) determination of difference between filtered reference measurements and measurements; (f) comparison of technical system measurement signals with reference system; (g) conversion of the measurement signals into topological models as a function of the difference of the measurement signals with the reference measurement signals; (h) during conversion a sensitivity fitting dependent of the function parameters is undertaken.
