The system has an integrated navigation system and an air bag (E) testing system. The emergency system is activated by shock or deformation of the vehicle (A,B) in an accident. Sensors (C) in the air bag and the vehicle measure forces in an abnormal state and transmit the measurements over an integrated navigation system (D) to an emergency contact center as well as the position of the vehicle, without any extra input. The emergency system can be automatically or manually activated to produce a message to send help.
