The air suction pipe has a pipe socket(4) in which is fitted a throttle valve housing(5) which have a tapered sleeve(14) and mating cone section(15) respectively. The cone section has sealing beads(16) framing the bore housing a throttle valve(7) and which are elastically deformed when the throttle valve housing is fitted. The sealing beads are in-laid in slots(18) in the cone section, or as a fluid material are injected into the slots and hardened.
