SKIN PREPARATIONS FOR EXTERNAL USE

Skin preparations for external use which contain polyoxyethylenedicarboxylic acid esters represented by chemical formula (1); wherein R1 and R2 represent each hydrogen, C1-4 alkyl or branched alkyl; m, n, X and Y represent each an integer of 0 to 5, provided m, n, X and Y do not represent 0 at the same time; and R3 represents branched or linear C0-10 alkylene. Because of containing the polyoxyethylenedicarboxylic acid esters and a humectant, these preparations are excellent in the texture, in particular, smoothness in using and free from stickiness and exert a prolonged-moistening effect.
