The friction wheel assembly has two wheels (2,3) or wheel pairs mounted on axles on a bearing plate (8). The axles have a chain drive assembly from a motor (15) via a connecting pin (14) having a fixed support (13). The chain extends parallel to the movement direction of the door to define a straight friction path. The friction wheels are biased against the surface of the door by tensioning the chain. |
