The reinforcement is in the form of crossing fibers, to be built into building facades, roofs, cladding or walls. The material has parallel, spaced apart electrically conductive metal ropes. The metal ropes extend with respective fibres of the reinforcement and are connected thereto or worked into the respective fibers. The fibers of the reinforcement are provided with an electrically conductive finish or coating.
