The invention relates to a pathologically modified myocardial cell which can be produced from healthy cardiac tissue by providing or isolating at least o ne healthy myocardial cell, by stimulating said isolated myocardial cell using the appropriate hormones, hormone analogues and/or zytokines and by detectin g the pathologically modified myocardial cell(s) by localising at least one signal molecule. The invention also relates to a method for producing said pathologically modified myocardial cell and to the use thereof, including a method for detecting or identifying cardioactive substances.
