The pre-fabricated silencer consists of two semi-shells (1,2) and contains glass wool (10), which is pref. sucked-in or blown through an aperture (3) after the silencer is assembled. The flat shell edges (4,5) each have a pre-formed curved half opening (6) to form the insertion aperture when assembled. The flat engaging edges are welded together, and after insertion of the glass wool, the aperture is pressed together and welded shut. All welding is done by esp. Laser welding. |
