SUBSTANCE: the hydraulic drive has a pump plant, working hydraulic cylinder, three- position distributor, pneumohydraulic pump (booster) and a pilot controlled check valve. Besides, built-in the pressure line of the hydraulic cylinder are a pressure transducer (measuring transducer) and a proportional safety valve, which are connected by an electric circuit to a program controller performing the program of variation of compacting pressure in time. The efficiency of operation of the hydraulic drive is attained due to expansion of process capabilities of the pressing plants provided with the claimed hydraulic drive, due to reproduction of the preset program of stepped loading and unloading of the pressing tool.
