The invention relates to a method for analyzing nucleic acid sequences by carrying out the following steps: a) hybridizing nucleic acid fragments on complementary sequences, which are immobilized on coded supports; b) hybridizing probes on the nucleic acid fragments that are hybridized in step a); c) sequentially identifying the coded supports and analyzing the probes bound thereto in a mass spectrometer; d) assigning the obtained mass information to the sequences of the utilized probes, and; e) matching the information obtained in such a manner with a database. The inventive method permits the analysis of DNA or RNA and, in particular, the coupling of a highly parallelizable sample preparation method with an analysis method havi ng a high output.
