摘要 medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic examination of neck region using surface transducer of 5 mHz. Formation echogenicity is studied as parameter A and it is evaluated with 1 unit in the cases of low echogenicity, with 2 units in the cases of lowered echogenicity. Formation outlines as parameter B is evaluated with 1 unit in the cases of distinct formation outlines, with 2 units in the cases of fuzzy formation outlines. Formation size as parameter C is evaluated with 1 unit in the cases the formation size being less than 7 mm, with 2 units in the cases the formation size being equal to or greater than 7 mm. The formation quantity as parameter D is evaluated with 1 unit in the cases a single formation being found, with 2 units in the cases several formations being found. All score units are summed up. The sum being from 4 to 6, parathyroid gland adenoma is to be diagnosed. The sum being equal to or greater than 7 units parathyroid gland hyperplasia is to be diagnosed.
