<p>A liner bonding apparatus for bonding liners to half shells of a cartridge for housing a recording disc or the like, including a conveyor for conveying half shells, a fabric transfer mechanism for supplying a liner fabric, and a punching mechanism for punching out liners from the fabric. The apparatus further includes a provisional bonding mechanism for temporarily bonding a punched-out liner to each half shell on the conveyor by dripping liquid, such as water or alcohol, onto the half shells, and a nonprovisional bonding mechanism for bonding the liners permanently to the half shells by applying heat and pressure thereto. <IMAGE></p> |
