jet engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is designed for locking exhaust nozzle of jet engine provided with actuators coupled with synchronizing cable. Locking is done as follows: synchronizing cable is coupled with cone brake of shutoff mechanism to prevent rotation of cable in case of failure of hydraulic system.
