<p>The knife housings (2) are fitted so that they can be adjusted on a guide bar which extends transversally in the displacement direction of the sheet (14) to be cut. The circular knives are fitted so that they can be removed from their housings (2). each guide bar carries several knife housings and several parallel guide bars are spaced along the displacement direction of the sheet. The machine is designed in particular for cutting pre-printed rectangular objects of various sizes such as visiting or invitation cards, labels and similar objects. Circular knife guillotine having several knife housings (2) each containing a circular knife for cutting or fashioning a continuous sheet of material in a direction parallel to the sheets displacement direction. Each circular knife can be pressed against the sheet in a zone where the latter is pressed against a rotating roller whose axis is perpendicular to the displacement direction of the sheet. The system also includes a printing unit or photo-copier unit. An Independent claim is also included for the machine.</p> |
