SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes drying (7) of moisture-laden fuel by means of combustion air (3) which is then fed to combustion chamber (1) of energy generation process. Flue gas (11) from combustion chamber which becomes moistened in the course of drying process is subjected to condensation (13) accompanied by extraction of heat (15) which may be used for drying process. Condensate of flue gas is used for humidification (31) of combustion air. Device is provided for realization of this method.
