The mounting consists of at least two receiving members on a supporting structure (12), each having two parallel facing ribs (54) to engage with matching grooves (34) in shock absorbing blocks (28) with thrust faces on projections to co-operate with the assembly (10). Each shock absorbing block, made from rubber, elastomer or similar, has a tooth projecting into one of its grooves to grip a rib on the receiving member, and can have a recess or cavity to enghance its elasticity. The assembly is also held in place by additional fixings (62) such as clip-on lugs. |
