PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet imaging apparatus in which wear of a flexible cable can be reduced without increasing the size and an image can be formed silently by reducing impact noise. SOLUTION: One longitudinal end 82a of a flexible cable 82 is connected with an interconnection board while inclining by an angle θ2 and only one lateral end 82d of the flexible cable 82 is brought into contact with an exterior plate 60. The other longitudinal end 82b of the flexible cable 82 is connected with a control board 42 and a part closer to the one end 82a than the other end 82b extends in the main scanning direction while being bent substantially perpendicularly. The part extending in the direction of arrow B while being bent is inclining by an angle θ1 of 45 deg. or less (with respect to horizon) against a holding table 70. |
