PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bleaching ingredient having an improved effect, and to provide a skin preparation which contains the bleaching ingredient and is used for external use. SOLUTION: This skin preparation for external use, containing the extract of the alga body of Eucheuma cottonii or Eucheuma spinosum as a bleaching ingredient, and the skin preparation for external use, containing the extract and one or more medicinally active agents selected from a bleaching agent, an antioxidant, an antiinflammatory agent and a UV light absorbent. |
