<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the directivity of a hit ball. SOLUTION: This wood type golf club head 1 is formed with a clubface F as a bulge B. The inertia moment I around a perpendicular axis passing the centroid point G of the head 1 in a reference state in which the head is placed on a horizontal plane by setting the head at a prescribed lie angle and loft angle is >=3500 (g.cm2). The following equation (1) is satisfied between this inertia moment I (g.cm2) and the radius R of curvature (cm) of the bulge: 0.01×I-13.0<=R<=0.01×I-2.0...(1).</p> |
