PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively inhibit of breezing of a component contained inside a conductive roll, especially used in an electrophotographic copying machine or the like. SOLUTION: On the surface of a base material 3 of the conductive roll 1, a breezing inhibiting layer 4 is formed, which consists of inorganic oxide or inorganicorganic hybrid coating, by means of a sol-gel method. The breezing inhibiting layer 4 contains an inorganic oxide or inorganic component; thus it is possible to inhibit breezing positively without being melting in an organic low molecular substance. |
