PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new composition hardly providing fears of depletion of the ozone layer and small in greenhouse effect without damaging excellent properties such as detergency and low toxicity possessed by a fluorocarbon-based hydrocarbon containing chlorine or a chlorine-based hydrocarbon. SOLUTION: This azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition comprises bis(2,2,2- trifluoroethyl) ether represented by the formula (1): CF3CH2OCH2CF3 (1), and at least one kind of alcohol selected from methanol, ethanol and 2-propanol.
