DEVICE FOR ASSISTING STANDING OF WHEELCHAIR AND WHEELCHAIR HAVING SUCH DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rising assist device for assisting standing to reduce the load of a caring person allowing a person to be cared to get on and off a wheelchair. SOLUTION: A sheet material for assisting standing is placed on a wheelchair so as to cover the seat and seat back of the wheelchair and the front part thereof is fixed to the wheelchair. A pair of the winding ropes connected to both side parts of the rear end on the sheet material are folded back at the upper part of the frame of the wheelchair and the folded-back winding ropes are taken up to apply rising force to assist standing to the person to be cared on the wheelchair.
